"Leonie’s retreat was a truly wonderful experience. I went, not knowing what to expect, and a little nervous for my first ever retreat. I was greeted with a warm, loving, safe space with incredibly kind people who have since become friends. I not only deepened my physical practice, but also my spiritual practice. Leonie holds space with a huge amount of grace for her students and the opportunities for growth and healing she created within the space of a week was a true gift. I loved the rhythm of the retreat; with dynamic classes and workshops, meditation, sharing sessions and free time to explore the surrounding landscape, I didn’t want to leave. I truly hope to go back!" - Victoria

Questions

Common questions

This retreat is designed for participants who feel called to immerse themselves in a dedicated practice. While no advanced yoga experience is required, some prior touchpoint with yoga and a general level of physical readiness will help you receive the full benefit of the retreat.

The topics are not strictly set in advance.
There will be a balance between more active, physically engaging practices (one afternoon e.g. arm balances or backbends) and quieter, more restorative (other afternoon alignment-focused, restorative) sessions.

I stay responsive to the group and welcome your input — shaping the workshops in a way that feels supportive for everyone.

Nourishing vegetarian meals will be provided throughout the retreat — mostly gluten-free, organically sourced, and prepared with care and love. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know in advance and we will find a supportive solution.
